Juniors "Open All Hours" Sketch goes on Tour ....

The "Open All Hours" sketch from the Juniors 75th Annual Display had a reprise performance at the
Annual Battalion Awards Evening.
Having been approached by the Lennox & Argyll Battalion Executive, the Boys put on an excellent
performance in front of the Provost of East Dunbartonshire Council, the invited guests and Boys from throughout the
Battalion attaining their Awards.
Well Done to all the Boys involved !!!

Juniors at Battalion Awards Evening

The annual Lennox & Argyll Battalion Awards Evening was this year held in Kessington Hall, Bearsden.
It recognised Boys from both Junior and Company Sections from throughout the Battalion who had attained
the highest awards in their respective Section.
Those Junior Section Boys who had attained the Juniors Gold Badge were awarded with the Battalion's Gold
Certificate in recognisition of their achievement at this event. This year, there were 5 Boys from 1st
Bearsden Juniors who went forward to this presentation evening. Congratulations to the Boys involved !!
For Company Section Boys, who had attained their President's or Queen's Badge this session, formal
presentation of their President's or Queen's Brigade Certificates also took place at this Award's Evening.

Juniors Weekend Camp - PGL Dalguise, Fri 9th to Sun 11th May 2008

The Juniors annual Weekend Camp returned to PGL Dalguise again this year. The programme of events included
some of the favourite activities from last year, as well as some new activities.

Company Inspection - Clydebank Town Hall, Friday 2nd May 2008

The Company Inspection, involving the Anchor, Junior and Company Sections, was held at Clydebank Town Hall
on Friday 2nd May, 2008. As it was the 110th anniversary of the Company and the 125th anniversary of The Boys' Brigade, it was a special
occasion, with the Ex-members parading with the entire Company. The Brigade National Vice-President John Young MBE was
the Principal Guest.
