Junior Section

5-11 Join the BB
The Junior Section has been an intregral part of the tradition of 1st Bearsden BB Company for over 75 years.

Today, we offer a fun and varied range of activities for Boys in Primary 4 to Primary 6 through a combination and mix of the BB Juniors Award Programme and our own Section programme. In addition, we participate in Argyll & Lennox Battalion Juniors events and competitions throughout the BB year, and general 1st Bearsden Company events. We also participate in the East Dunbartonshire Soccer Sevens Association.

The Junior Section meets every Thursday evening at the BB hall. Doors open at 7:00pm, and we begin at 7:05pm. The evening programme runs till 8:30pm, with football training running from 8:30pm till 9:00pm, with the evening ending at 9:15pm.

Things you can expect to do

There is a wide range of fun activities for members of the Junior Section to take part in. Each night includes games, sports and various classes. Examples of classes are craftwork, community, simple cooking and drama, although there is much more. And of course, there is always the annual weekend camp to look forward to, as well as the occasional day trip.
